This design was born from a large series of biomorphic abstract oil paintings completed over a year at my studio in Watford, UK. What started as a small minimalist oil painting developed into these three-dimensional, biomorphic abstract shapes using bold colour and a vibrant palette, which is unusual for my work. That makes this design rather unique, in that not only is it original, but after the sale of the last of this series, I won't be using this style again. In a way, this design is a commemorative design, as I expected the series to continue. But that is the way art takes you: in unexpected directions.
